A Browse AI alternative that uses your own logged-in browser

Updated

BrowseWiz is a Browse AI alternative for data behind your logins. It works in the Chrome you're already signed into, so you never upload cookies or a password. You describe the rows in plain words, and it writes them into a new Google Sheet. Browse AI is better for cloud runs while your computer is off, large volumes and integrations.

Describe the rows, not the robot

Sign in to the supplier portals in Chrome as usual, then type one message in the side panel:

What you type

Check the open tenders on the Alder County, Fernhill Health and Millbrook Schools supplier portals for cleaning or facilities contracts. Put each one in a new Google Sheet with buyer, tender, estimated value, closing date and a link to the notice, and add only tenders that aren't there yet.

No recorded clicks, selectors or exported cookies. Approve the plan, then grant tab access and sign in to Google once when asked. That first run fills the sheet. Then click Update this sheet daily, answer its questions with a time such as 7 every morning and new rows only, and approve the new plan to save it as a scheduled task.

What lands in your sheet

These portals show full notices only to registered suppliers, so BrowseWiz reads them in your Chrome, where you're signed in. Each row links to its notice.

How each tool gets past the login

Browse AI runs robots in its cloud, so it has to sign in without you. Its help center offers two ways: upload your session cookies (recommended) or save a username and password. Browse AI stores both encrypted Source 2.

Cookies expire, so Browse AI recommends refreshing them monthly. Cookies work with most 2FA but aren't guaranteed, saved passwords can be problematic with 2FA, and sites that need a hardware token or biometric-only sign-in are out of reach Source 2.

BrowseWiz works in your own Chrome, where you sign in the way you always do, 2FA included, so there's nothing to upload or refresh. The text of the pages it reads goes to the AI model. You never give it your passwords.

Sign-ins still lapse: if a site signs you out, a scheduled run lands on the sign-in page until you sign in again in Chrome. See how to scrape a website that requires a login.

Three steps to a sheet that stays current

  1. Describe the rows

Name the sites and the columns. The agent reads the pages in the BrowseWiz Tabs group, and you approve its actions or auto-approve a site you trust.

  2. Get a Google Sheet

After a one-time Google sign-in, it creates the sheet in your Google Drive and writes the rows. Later runs add rows or update them in place.

  3. Keep it current

Click Update this sheet daily after the first run, or ask for a schedule, daily on Free or up to hourly on Pro. Or add a monitor that alerts you when a page changes in a way that matches your words. Both run while Chrome is open.

Which one to pick

Choose Browse AI if…

  • Runs must happen while your computer is off.
  • You scrape thousands of pages or need proxies and captcha solving.
  • You want rows in a spreadsheet you already have, email alerts, or Airtable, Zapier or an API.
  • You want a trained robot that returns the same fields every run.

Choose BrowseWiz if…

  • The data is behind a login you'd rather not hand to a cloud service.
  • You'd rather describe the rows in one message than train a robot per site.
  • You want a Google Sheet kept current and alerts only for changes that match your words, starting free.

Where BrowseWiz falls short

BrowseWiz is a Chrome extension, not a scraping platform.

  • Chrome has to be open. Schedules and monitors run only while Chrome is running. Nothing runs while your computer is off.
  • No bulk crawling. Each task works in one tab, with no proxies or captcha solving. For thousands of URLs, use a cloud scraper.
  • Monitors check about every 5 minutes, no faster.
  • Less repeatable. The agent reads each page fresh, so two runs can differ in small ways. A trained robot is more predictable.
  • Its own sheets only, alerts in Chrome only. BrowseWiz creates the sheet in your Google Drive and keeps writing to it, but it can't edit a spreadsheet you already have. It doesn't send email.
  • Site terms. You're responsible for following each site's terms of use.

Browse AI pricing in October 2026

Browse AI sells credits: one extracts up to 10 rows from a page or takes one screenshot Source 6. Premium sites cost 2–10 credits per task, and unused credits don't roll over. Annual billing is 20% off at the same credit volume and grants the whole year's credits upfront.

  • Free: $0, 50 credits a month, 2 websites, checks at most hourly.
  • Personal: $48/month billed monthly for 2,000 credits a month, or $19/month billed annually for 12,000 credits a year (about 1,000 a month). 5 websites, checks as often as every 5 minutes.
  • Professional: $87/month billed monthly for 5,000 credits a month, or $69/month billed annually for 60,000 credits a year. 10 websites, checks as often as every 5 minutes.
  • Premium: from $500/month, billed annually, with 600,000+ credits a year and a managed service.

What it costs to watch one page

For monitoring, Browse AI credits add up per check. Its own example, 50 pages checked every 3 days for about 500 credits a month, works out to 1 credit per page check Source 6. One page checked every hour is 24 × 30 = 720 checks, or about 720 credits a month, so the 50 credits on Browse AI's free plan last about two days, and Personal covers it, billed monthly or annually. Checked every 5 minutes, the same page uses 12 × 24 × 30 = 8,640 credits a month, more than four times the 2,000 that Personal includes.

A BrowseWiz monitor checks its page about every 5 minutes on every plan, while Chrome is open. A check that finds no change makes no AI model call. A check that finds a change makes one AI model call with your criterion and the changed text, cut to 12,000 characters. At BrowseWiz's per-token rates, about 4 characters per token and 5 credits per input token, a full 12,000 characters comes to about 3,000 × 5 = 15,000 credits. The call's instructions add input tokens, and its short reply costs 30 credits per output token. BrowseWiz Free includes 1 monitor and Pro 30.
