Account

The Account section shows your profile, your subscription plan and your credit usage. If you are signed out, it shows a Login or Sign Up Now button instead.

Profile Information

Shows the Email and User ID of the signed-in account.

Click Export my data to download a copy of your BrowseWiz data as a JSON file named browsewiz-export-<date>.json. The button is disabled while the file is being prepared. If the export fails, "Couldn't export your data. Try again." shows under the button.

The file includes your data stored on BrowseWiz servers (synced chat history, prompts, backed-up scheduled tasks and monitors, settings, custom models, custom tools and MCP servers, system instructions, account settings, plan and usage) and the data kept in this browser (local chat history, your prompts, scheduled tasks and monitors, and settings). Your monitors are listed with your scheduled tasks. The file also includes the backed-up copies of monitors made with earlier versions of BrowseWiz, which were removed when it updated (see Monitors from earlier versions). "System instructions" are left over from the Instructions feature, which BrowseWiz no longer has. The file never includes secrets: no OpenAI API key, and no API key, secure header value or authorization header of a custom model, custom tool or MCP server. The custom models, tools and MCP servers kept only in this browser aren't in it.

Subscription Plan

Shows your current plan: Free, Pro or Max.

  • On the Free plan, Upgrade opens the pricing page.
  • On a paid plan, Manage opens the billing portal, where you can switch plans, cancel, update your payment details and see invoices. Without a subscription there, it opens the pricing page instead.

Upgrade and Manage sign you in on browsewiz.com and open it in the same tab, in place of the Options page.

Below the plan, the AI credits card shows:

  • Next reset on: the date your monthly credits reset, followed by "(monthly)".
  • Credits used: the credits used this month out of your monthly allowance, with a progress bar.
  • Bonus credits remaining, if you have any.

Credits are explained on the pricing page.

What uses credits

Everything that runs on BrowseWiz's AI models uses your credits: chats with BrowseWiz models, the browser agent and its safety check, scheduled tasks and monitor checks, plus voice input and read aloud when you haven't set an OpenAI API key. Your monthly credits are used first, then bonus credits. When you're close to running out, replies can be shorter.

When you run out, the chat shows: "You've run out of AI credits! Visit the account page to check when it resets or subscribe for uninterrupted use."

Paid plans are also limited per 4 hours: 50M credits on Pro, 100M on Max. Above that, the chat shows: "Too many requests in a short period. Please try again in about 4 hours."

Chat replies from your own OpenAI API key or a custom model don't use credits. The browser agent and its safety check still do, even in those chats.

Sign out

To sign out, click Sign out at the bottom of the settings menu.

Signing out keeps your data on this browser, including chats, prompts, scheduled tasks and monitors, for when you sign in again with the same account. While you're signed out, scheduled tasks don't run and monitors aren't checked. Another account that signs in on this browser starts empty and doesn't see your data. Signing out also signs you out of browsewiz.com. See Backup & Sync.

Delete account

The Delete account section, at the end of the Account page, lets you ask for your BrowseWiz account to be deleted.

  • Free plan: click Delete my account. A dialog, "Delete your account?", says that your BrowseWiz account will be deleted, with your synced chats and prompts, your settings, your usage and any feedback you shared, within 30 days, and that BrowseWiz data on this browser is cleared now and you'll be signed out. Click Request deletion to confirm, or Cancel to keep your account. If the request fails, the dialog shows "Couldn't request deletion: " and the error, and nothing is cleared.
  • Paid plans: the section says "Cancel your subscription before deleting your account." with a Manage subscription link to the billing portal. Once your subscription has ended and you are back on the Free plan, the Delete my account button appears.
  • After a request: this browser's BrowseWiz data is cleared and you're signed out. If you sign in again before the account is deleted, the section shows "Deletion requested on" and the date of your request instead of the button, and the account works as before until it is deleted.

To withdraw a request, email contact@browsewiz.com.
