AI Tools
AI models can not only generate text, but also choose to use tools to accomplish a goal. By enabling tools you can turn BrowseWiz AI chat into an AI agent that helps with web research or automates various tasks.
The Tools menu
Turn tools on and off from the chat. The wrench button ("Tools") is the first button in the row of icons in the chat input, before the attach, screenshot, microphone and Promptbook buttons. Click it to open the Tools menu above the input.
The menu lists:
- Enable spreadsheet: the Google Spreadsheet toolset;
- Enable calendar: the Google Calendar toolset;
- Enable browser agent: the Browser Use Agent;
- a switch for each custom API/Webhook tool;
- a switch for each tool from your MCP servers;
- Manage tools, which opens the Tools page of the options.
Click a tool to flip its switch. The menu closes. A built-in tool that needs setting up first, such as the calendar before a calendar is configured, shows a disabled switch, and clicking it opens the options page so you can set it up.
By default, the spreadsheet and the browser agent are on and the calendar is off.
The menu and the Built-in Tools section of the options page show the same switches: turning a tool on or off in one place also changes it in the other.
