Screenshot

Capture a rectangular area of the active page and attach it as a PNG image to your message. This is useful when you want the AI to analyze a specific visual element, layout, chart, or anything visible on the page.

How to take a screenshot

1. Click the Screenshot (scissors) button in the input toolbar
2. The page dims, your cursor changes to a crosshair, and the chat input reads Select screenshot area on the page
3. Click and drag to select the area you want to capture
4. Release the mouse button — the screenshot is captured and automatically attached to your message
5. Type your message and send it along with the screenshot

Because the screenshot is an image, the selected model must accept image input (see File(s)).

To cancel, press Escape (on the page or in the side panel), click the scissors button again (Cancel Screenshot), which always works, switch to another tab, or reload or leave the page. A selection smaller than 10 × 10 pixels isn't captured: the page stays dimmed, so just draw again.

The screenshot button is only available on regular web pages (HTTP/HTTPS). It is not available on browser internal pages or PDF files.

BrowseWiz redraws the selected area from the page's content rather than copying pixels from the screen. Videos, embedded plugins and some visual effects may look blank or different in the screenshot.
