File(s)

Attach files to include their content with your message. You can:

• Click the Attachment(s) (paperclip) button under the chat input and choose Choose a file(s) to open a file picker
• Drag and drop files onto the chat input
• Drop links onto the chat input: BrowseWiz loads each linked page and attaches the page's text (a linked PDF attaches the PDF's text). A link that can't be loaded isn't attached, and a notice names it; the other links still attach.
• Paste an image from the clipboard into the chat input (pasting attaches images only). Every pasted image attaches, even one identical to an image already attached.

A picked or dropped file with the same name as one already attached is skipped, with the notice "All files are already attached" or "Some files were already attached and have been ignored". If a file can't be read, BrowseWiz shows Unsupported format or corrupted file. If nothing you dropped can be attached, it shows No valid files or URLs found in the dropped items., and a paste with no usable image shows No valid images found in the clipboard. There is no limit on the number or size of files apart from the model's. If the files you add, together with the files already attached, have more text than the selected model can read, BrowseWiz shows Too long document(s). and attaches none of the new ones.

Currently Supported Files

Text Files

All text files including:

• Documents (*.txt, *.md, *.markdown, *.rst)
• Data files (*.csv, *.tsv, *.tab)
• Code files (*.html, *.css, *.js, *.py)
• Config files (*.ini, *.cfg, *.conf)
• Scripts (*.bat, *.cmd, *.sh)
• Other formats (*.xml, *.json, *.yaml, *.yml, *.log, *.nfo, *.diz)

Document Files

• PDF files
• Office files: *.docx, *.pptx, *.xlsx

Only the text of PDF and Office files is read. Images inside them are not included. Files in other formats are read as plain text.

• XLSX: each sheet is sent as CSV, one sheet after another.
• DOCX: the document's text is sent with its formatting markup (headings, lists, tables).

Image Files

The following image formats are supported for AI analysis:

• PNG
• JPEG
• WEBP
• GIF (static only)

For best results, ensure your images are clear and well-lit. The AI performs better with high-quality images.

Image support depends on the model: the selected model must accept image input. Attached images are sent to whichever model is selected.
