Google Calendar Toolset

The Google Calendar toolset allows AI models to fully manage a calendar: from simple event creation and rescheduling, to planning and optimizing your schedule for several weeks based on your guidelines.

The toolset only works with events it creates. It cannot access or manage events from your existing Google Calendars.

Capabilities

The AI can perform the following operations:

  • Create events — schedule new events with title, time, location, description, and attendees
  • Search events — find events within a date range
  • Update events — modify existing event details (time, title, description, attendees, etc.)
  • Delete events — remove events from the calendar

Event Features

  • Attendees — add attendees by name and email, with configurable notification settings (all, external only, or none)
  • Recurrence — set up recurring events (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly) with intervals, counts, end dates, and specific day/month rules
  • Location — include a physical or virtual meeting location

Configuration

The Google Calendar toolset can be configured with your scheduling preferences:

  • Daily routine and working hours — help the AI understand when to schedule events
  • Meeting preferences — preferred duration, buffer time between meetings, max meetings per day
  • Unavailable slots — times that should never be booked
  • Break preferences — ensure breaks are respected in your schedule
